List of Available Tickers Is Too Short

Issue
1. I am getting the following type of error message: "Data not found" for tickers like IBM, GE, GM, etc.

2. The list of available tickers in the ticker lookup is suspiciously short (it suppose to be 6,000+ companies).

Solution

Close Research Wizard. You will need to delete file UNIV.LST from c:\zir\rw40 folder (or any other folder where the application installed). Restart Research Wizard. The system will restore the list of available tickers from the Zacks server.
